PA was put under quarantine in March 2020 due to Covid 19. I thought of trying to paint something to do with the shut down and Covid19, but I came to the realization that Covid19 was not what I wanted to express. There was so much contradictory news on TV and in the papers and tweets by the Prez that It all became quite confusing. I found a foam-core board that I used as my painting surface for no reason other than it was available. I covered it with colors as an underpainting.

I began drawing figures and images spontaneously in black ink, what ever came to mind: absurd, funny, fantastic, objective, abstract, real and unreal. This was something new putting my ideas and color on a painting surface before making sketches and planning the design and composition.
